Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced facility. The role requires reading technical drawings, operating punch equipment, and maintaining quality and safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and prior punching experience are preferred.

You will report to your team leader, work with the team to meet production goals, and be part of a culture emphasizing safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Ability to lift, move, and position materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce quality parts.
• Use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards
• Follow drawings or work orders as provided by a team leader.
• Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary
• Must be able to maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
• Must work efficiently while keeping safety, quality and production standards in mind at all times.
• To promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
• Any other task asked by the leadership team.
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience operating Punch Operator
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Ability to lift, move, and position materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• This position may require standing for extended periods, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work is performed in a production environment where safety gear (gloves, eye protection, steel-toed footwear, etc.) is required.
• Flexibility to work overtime, shifts, or weekends as needed to support production demands.
