Job summary

National Pump Company in Glendale, AZ is seeking a hands-on Pump Technician to assemble pump components and equipment. You will work with the production team to ensure parts meet quality standards and customer requirements.

You will read blueprints, use hand tools and power tools, follow work instructions, and help maintain a clean, safe work area. Experience in manufacturing or pump assembly is helpful, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions or verbal directions.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump components and equipment according to drawings and work instructions.
• Safely use hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Read blueprints and production orders to guide assembly.
• Inspect components and assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report issues promptly.
