Job summary

EZ LOADER CUSTOM BOAT TRAILERS INC. is seeking a production welder to join our Texas facility. You will perform various welding functions, read blueprints, and set up welding equipment to produce parts in time with quality standards.

Role requires ability to read measuring tools, perform basic math, and operate a forklift safely. You will work in a team, adapt to overtime, and uphold safety and lean improvement practices in a demanding shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 1-2 years related experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring tools.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other mechanical equipment.
• Good communication skills and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and work instructions to assemble products according to guidelines.
• Weld straps, plates and tubes in production runs to meet time standards.
• Read tape measure and use calipers/micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Pass in-house welding test (1G or better).
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support safety rules.
