Aerotek is seeking a Production Associate in Belton, MO to support a busy manufacturing operation. You will operate production equipment, assemble and package products, verify measurements with a tape measure, and perform quality inspections while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The role requires hands-on work, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for verifying measurements.
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Consistent and reliable attendance with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general production and manufacturing duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and accurately use a tape measure to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Assemble, package, and inspect products in accordance with established quality standards.
• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules to meet output requirements.
• Conduct quality checks, identify defects or inconsistencies, and promptly report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with material handling, including moving and staging materials as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and support other production tasks as required.
