Job summary

HD Supply in Flower Mound, TX, is seeking an entry-level manufacturing/production associate to perform multiple tasks in one department. You will handle materials such as rubber, stretch cord, and packing, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will read work orders, measure lengths with a tape measure, cut materials to spec, and assemble sub-assemblies using hand and pneumatic tools. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Inserts materials, clamps, fits parts, and uses hand tools.
• Cuts materials to specified dimensions using a tape measure and reads work orders.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Performs bench-type processes to complete material assemblies and sub-assemblies with hand, electronic and pneumatic tools.
• Notifies supervisor of mechanical, material, or safety issues.
• Labels and tags products and packages.
• Follows standard work methods, SOPs, and job aides.
• Packs finished goods and places on pallet.
