Responsibilities

• Works on processes within assigned department, including insertion of materials, clamping, fitting parts, and use of hand tools.
• Cuts materials to specified dimensions and uses a tape measure to determine length.
• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Performs bench-type assemblies using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tools.
• Notifies supervisor of any mechanical, material, or safety issues.
• Attaches labels and packs finished goods for shipping.
