Job summary

ARaymond is seeking a Press Setup Operator in Indiana to setup, operate, troubleshoot and maintain slide forming machines and punch presses. You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and document quality data to ensure production meets specifications.

Collaborate with the Tooling Department to resolve issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support production control while upholding ARaymond's EHS standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with machine setup and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain slide forming machines and punch presses.
• Tend to production machines, perform lubrication, collection, and disposal tasks.
• Collaborate with Tooling Department to troubleshoot tooling issues and drive improvements.
• Read blueprints and instruction sheets, monitor product quality, and record data in SAP.
• Perform administrative tasks to support production control and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot issues to improve efficiency while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with tooling changes after production runs.
• Understand impact of scrap and prevent contamination through proper handling and process discipline.
