Job summary

ARaymond Network in Logansport, IN is seeking a Press Setup Operator to set up and operate slide forming machines and punch presses used to form metal strips into precise stampings. You will read blueprints, verify quality, and log data in SAP while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will collaborate with Tooling to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to EHS standards. A HS diploma or GED and 1 year of machine experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of machine operation and machine setup experience required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Tear down, operate, and facilitate setup and changeover of slide forming machines or punch presses.
• Tend to production machines following setup and lubricating oil procedures.
• Collaborate with Tooling Department to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement improvements.
• Read blueprints and monitor product quality, record data in SAP.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and support safe practices.
