Boyd Corporation, a leader in engineered rubber, plastic, metal, and sealing solutions, is hiring a Machine Operator for on-site work in Seattle. You will set up and run punch presses, verify materials, and maintain safety standards while producing quality parts.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work under time constraints in a team environment. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Proficient with MS Office and PC use.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good math and analytical skills; strong decision making.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and run punch presses (5–150 ton) per quality guidelines.
• Receive production order and verify stock and hardware.
• Inspect press and ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Run production and obtain supervisor approval for runs.
• Document parts produced and note any issues.
• Clean work area and mark job completion.
