Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year in metal fabrication or machining.
• Experience with press brake and/or shear equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and material properties (steel, aluminum).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake and square shear to perform cutting and forming operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to produce parts within specification.
• Verify part dimensions using calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other tools.
• Perform routine machine setup adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain production efficiency targets and adhere to safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Identify and elevate deviations or process issues to supervision or quality team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, waste reduction, process optimization).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to attendance policies and contribute to punctual reporting for shifts.
