Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years set-up and operating experience with brake presses.
• Experience with Amada/HFB-FBD or Safan Darley equipment preferred.
• Solid background in sheet metal work.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Ability to distinguish aluminum, steel and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust brake press tooling and settings.
• Load materials onto the brake press and position for bending.
• Read blueprints to determine bending sequences and tolerances.
• Operate the brake press to form parts per specifications.
• Inspect parts for defects and conformance to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Carry and lift 10–50 lbs. as needed.
