Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures is seeking a Hydraulic Press Brake Machine Operator for our Clinton, IL location. You will set up and operate a hydraulic press brake, read blueprints, and adjust CNC settings to ensure precise bending of metal parts.

Strong math, measurement skills, and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include inspecting parts with precision tools, maintaining safety, and performing routine machine maintenance while documenting production data and assisting with downtime

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read complex blueprints
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and work orders
• Exposure to CNC programming or parameter adjustment is a plus
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and procedures
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to document production data accurately (Job Tracker)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake, install dies and tooling
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine specs, angles, bending sequences
• Program or adjust CNC settings for precise bending of metal parts
• Position and align sheets within the machine and manage material flow
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and report issues to maintenance
