The role requires reading engineering drawings, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining accurate production records while following safety standards and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a press brake or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Basic math skills (fractions/decimals) and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Team player with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC or manual press brake machines.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Select tooling and machine settings.
• Program bends at the machine when required.
• Measure and inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
• Maintain production records and ensure safety procedures.
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and cleanup.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality personnel to resolve production issues.
