APX is seeking a Press Brake Operator to safely set up, operate, and maintain hydraulic press brake equipment, reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications. You will perform quality checks and assist with production tasks to support on-time delivery in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

This on-site role requires interpreting blueprints, precise measurement, and adherence to safety standards while maintaining efficient production.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of hydraulic press brake operating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience working with sheet metal.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Safely set up, operate, and troubleshoot hydraulic press brake equipment.
• Perform mechanical die changes efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and measurements.
• Perform quality checks including measurements, weight, density, and dimensional verification using measuring tools and mathematical calculations.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance tasks, including fluid checks, machine cleanups, and reporting equipment concerns or malfunctions.
• Accurately record production data including piece counts, downtime, and completion times.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting safety and quality expectations.
• Assist with general production and assembly tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
