Job summary

Anchor Fabrication is seeking a Precision Press Brake Forming Technician to join the Brake Department on site in Lavergne, TN. You will operate and set up Amada and Trumpf brakes, read blueprints, and perform first- and last-piece inspections to ensure accurate, production-ready parts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication, strong math skills, and GD&T understanding. ERP familiarity (Epicor) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication (preferred).
• Comfort reading blueprints and verifying dimensions.
• GD&T understanding; able to pass a GD&T test.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up all press brake machines within the Brake Department.
• Read and interpret blueprints; perform first- and last-piece inspections.
• Leverage knowledge of metal properties to deliver consistent, accurate forms.
• Complete clerical and labor reporting tied to production.
• Keep your work area organized, safe, and audit-ready.
