CCN Pharmacy is seeking a Processing Technician to enter, process, and route prescriptions within the pharmacy system under the direction of supervising pharmacists. This role supports accurate patient care and efficient operations.

The technician will verify information, handle various prescription formats, and ensure documentation quality. Strong time management, detail orientation, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license/registration required or willing to apply for temporary registration as Technician Trainee.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Processing & Data Entry.
• Consult with pharmacists regarding questions or clarifications related to prescription entry.
• Enter and process new prescriptions under supervision and in compliance with regulations.
• Verify prescription information prior to processing for accuracy.
• Efficiently process mailed-in, faxed, electronic, verbal, and drop-off prescriptions.
• Route labels, rejections, and processing issues; rebills/balance billing as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of common medications and their generic equivalents.
