Job summary

Cam-Ful Industries, Inc. in Pineville, NC seeks a Plumbing Estimator / Take-Off Specialist to support the Senior Estimator in preparing quantity take-offs and evaluating plumbing drawings, specs, bid manuals, and addenda for commercial projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience in commercial plumbing or construction estimating, strong math and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Commercial plumbing, construction estimating, or similar industry experience required.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, bid manuals and electronic blueprints.
• Strong math, computer, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project quantity and material take-offs.
• Review plumbing drawings, specifications bid manuals, and addenda.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare pricing worksheets, bid summaries, quotes, and proposal documents.
• Monitor bid progress, due dates, outstanding pricing, clarifications, and required submission documents.
• Identify missing information, drawing conflicts, and potential scope gaps.
