Job summary

RAE Corporation is seeking a NAP Sub Assembly Piper to fabricate copper piping sub assemblies and perform soldering and brazing for refrigeration components. The role requires precise workmanship, adherence to drawings, and a steady production pace on the line.

You will stage completed parts, ensure quality and safety standards, and collaborate with line teams. Training and DOT certification may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Maintain strict adherence to specifications, tolerances and safety policies.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and steady production pace.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate copper piping sub assemblies per drawings and BOMs.
• Cut, ream, deburr, and prepare piping to specified lengths.
• Perform soldering and brazing on copper, brass, and steel joints.
• Inspect joints for leaks, fit and finish, and document results.
• Stage sub assemblies for timely transfer to the main line.
• Maintain tools and workspace to 6S standards.
