Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS seeks an skilled assembler to perform complex assembly and installation on major sub-assemblies and minor assemblies with precision.

You will read blueprints, verify fit, and execute riveting using specialized tools, while maintaining quality data entry and adherence to procedures. This role requires standing, lifting up to 25 lb, and working in varied temperatures; a strong focus on safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures (heat/cold).
• Work in dusty/debris-prone environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely, detailed manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assembly and installation on major production sub-assemblies or minor assemblies.
• Check fit and alignment using blueprints/lofts.
• Determine location and accuracy of parts against drawings.
• Perform riveting with various bucking tools.
• Repair/alter parts per engineering/quality control.
• Prepare surfaces, apply adhesive, and seal parts.
• Use inspection tools to collect product data and enter into IIS.
