Job summary

Twin Staffing Inc. seeks a skilled pipefitter to support precision machinery on the shop floor, installing hydraulic, coolant, pneumatic lines and related components.

You will read drawings, route lines, and ensure cleanliness and proper pressure ratings before equipment ships or returns to production. Responsibilities include fabricating and joining pipes, performing pressure and leak tests, recording results, and resolving issues on rebuilds or new builds in collaboration with mechanics,

Qualifications

• Hands-on pipefitting experience on industrial machinery.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs and fitting schedules.
• Proven skill cutting, bending, threading, flaring and joining hydraulic and coolant lines.
• Working knowledge of pressure testing, leak detection, and contamination control for fluid systems.
• Reliable use of measuring tools, torque practice, and lockout/tagout.
• Clear, timely communication with other trades so issues are raised before they become rework.

Responsibilities

• Install piping, tubing and related components per drawings and standards.
• Read P&IDs and isometrics, route lines free of interference.
• Fabricate, cut, bend, thread, flare and join pipe and tube to print.
• Perform pressure, leak and function checks and close punch-list items before handover.
• Find and correct leaks, restrictions and fitting failures on new builds and rebuilds.
• Coordinate with mechanics, electricians and supervisors to avoid delays in machine completion.
• Keep work area clean and follow lockout, fluid-handling and QA procedures.
