Job summary

Jabil in Salt Lake City is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to assist on the manufacturing line, ensure highest quality, and support efficiency while following safety requirements.

You will perform routine inspections, read procedures, and use magnification or AOI to confirm conformance, entering results into the MES system and maintaining compliance with safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years in a Jabil production role preferred.
• Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or related field may be preferred.
• QC certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
• Inspect in-process and finished assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to QA standards.
• Read and follow operating procedures and change notices to determine acceptance or rejection of product.
• Work under close supervision by Manufacturing supervisor or designated supervisor.
• Follow standardized written directions and visual aids for QA inspection operations.
• Visually inspect products using magnifying glass, lot sampling, first article checks, or AOI machines.
• Enter inspection results into MES system using keystrokes to indicate pass or fail.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and the company security policy.
