Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Tulsa, OK is seeking a skilled Hand Solder Operator for 1st shift to assemble and solder PCBs with precision. You will work with through-hole and surface mount components, following controlled drawings and quality standards while using hand tools.

The role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to read manufacturing instructions and schematics.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hand soldering on PCBs.
• Ability to read manufacturing instructions, schematics and drawings.
• IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 certifications are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and steady hand.

Responsibilities

• Assemble through-hole and surface mount PCB assemblies.
• Precisely solder components and wires to boards.
• Conduct quality inspections for defects (bridging, cold joints, placement).
• Perform minor rework and repairs on boards as needed.
• Pull up documentation required to perform work on customer assemblies.
• Operate equipment and handle products safely.
• Maintain records and assist in documentation control.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
