Job summary

Jabil is seeking a dedicated assembler to place parts on circuit boards in alignment with workmanship standards. You will perform basic electronic assembly tasks, read visual aids for component placement, and visually inspect parts for accuracy.

Use a barcode scanner and small hand tools while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety protocols. This entry-level role supports ongoing production with supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, customers and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a Windows-based PC and related software.
• Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to read and understand visual aids.
• Ability to perform simple one- or two-step instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manually place parts on circuit boards following workmanship standards.
• Perform basic, standardized and repetitive electronic assembly operations and labeling.
• Prepare and assemble inserted components per visual aids after verifying specs.
• Visually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement.
• Use bar code scanner and small hand tools.
• Ensure assemblies and components are handled and labeled properly.
• Maintain 5S in the work area at all times.
• Follow safety and health rules and company security procedures.
