Job summary

Jabil is seeking a manufacturing associate to manually place parts on circuit boards in accordance with workmanship standards. You will follow detailed instructions, perform repetitive assembly tasks, and visually inspect components for proper placement.

Work is performed under supervision with emphasis on safety, workspace cleanliness, and accurate progress reporting. The role includes using barcode scanners and hand tools, and restocking parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, customers and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC including Windows-based software.
• Advanced PC skills including Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to read and understand visual aids and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Place parts on circuit boards following written or visual instructions.
• Perform basic, standardized electronic assembly and labeling tasks.
• Prepare and assemble inserted components per visual aids and specs.
• Visually inspect parts for proper placement and insertion.
• Use barcode scanner and small hand tools.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the work area.
