Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a Payment Poster to support Hospital Patient Accounts. Under supervision, you will post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in a timely and accurate manner and ensure financial information is reported daily to designated parties.

You will balance patient accounting A/R, electronic payments, adjustments and refunds, and reconcile all payments daily. Daily posting accuracy will be ensured by auditing all batches posted, in a role that supports 20

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or Equivalent
• Work Experience: 1 year

Responsibilities

• Posts payments and adjustments to patient accounts with accuracy.
• Manages day-to-day payment posting process for all assigned clients and reconciles payments daily.
• Audits batches posted to ensure posting accuracy and integrity of A/R in the patient accounting system.
