Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Kent, Washington, is seeking a skilled manufacturing operator to set up and run machines for marking and packaging parts to exact specifications.

Under moderate supervision, you will operate video jet and electro-etch systems and bagging equipment. You will read blueprints, use hand tools and measuring devices, and monitor operations for quality, stopping machines when issues arise.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to meet production rate and quality standards.
• Sets up and operates video jet and electro-etch machines to mark parts.
• Sets up and operates auto-bagger machines, uses a digital scale, and packages parts.
• Monitors machine operations and stops machines when problems occur.
• Maintains a clean, orderly workstation and performs basic machine upkeep.
• May perform lubing, clipping, or small part assembly as needed.
• Other duties as required.
