Job summary

Geoprobe Systems® is seeking a production painter to prep and paint machine components in a manufacturing environment. You will follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean workspace, and contribute ideas to improve quality and efficiency across prep and painting tasks.

The role involves operating blast/cleaning equipment, masking components for paint, and maintaining painting systems, with opportunities to grow in electrostatic painting and lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or GED).
• Minimum of 1 year of painting experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Experience with electrostatic painting system (bonus).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines for safe operation of all equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work space ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Implement ideas for improvement to maintain product quality.
• Work in both preparation and painting.
• Prepare components for paint by masking and plugs and placing components on conveyors and carts.
• Operate blast and cleaning equipment and maintain blast/cleaning systems.
• Maintain and service painting systems; handle paints and solvents; spray primers and top coats.
