Job summary

Geoprobe Systems is seeking a dedicated production painter to prep and paint Geoprobe machines and components in a manufacturing setting. You will follow safety guidelines, operate blasting/cleaning and painting systems, and ensure work meets customer specifications.

The role requires at least 1 year of painting experience in manufacturing, reading blueprints, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of painting experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Able to read blue prints & paint prints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Self-motivated and team oriented with high attention to detail.
• Persevere to solve problems and find ways to deliver better efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines for safe operation of all equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work space ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Implement ideas for improvement to maintain product quality.
• Prepare components for paint by masking and seating on conveyors and carts.
• Operate blast and cleaning equipment and maintain systems.
• Paint components by applying primers and top coats and labeling for team use.
