Qualifications

• 4+ years of paint prep, painting, sanding and scuffing in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing
• Ability to read English and follow safety rules, specs and maintenance instructions
• Must be able to read, write and understand English; medically cleared to wear a respirator

Responsibilities

• Mask areas not to be coated with masking tape or protective materials
• Mix paints and catalysts; prepare spray equipment and connect gun to air
• Regulate spray width and pressure for prime or finish coat
• Clean spraying equipment with solvent and maintain a safe, clean work area
• Operate oven to cure/dry and perform paint touch-ups
• Clean grease and dirt; prepare surfaces by filling, grinding, and smoothing defects
• Prime or paint surfaces after body repair as needed
• Visually inspect surface to ensure required results
