Job summary

Adept Life Sciences, Inc in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Packer to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare products for shipment by packaging according to quality and safety standards, moving quickly to meet daily pack targets.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and adherence to GMP, FDA and OSHA safety guidelines. Schedule is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with an hourly rate of $18.00.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Familiarity with packaging processes and materials handling.
• Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during packing operations.
• Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, CGMP, and safety protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring products are packed according to manufacturing procedures and quality standards
• Interpret production documents and work instructions accurately to assemble, package, and label products correctly
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, while adhering to safety protocols in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA standards
• Use hand tools and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills to resolve minor mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Perform routine inspections of packaging lines and materials handling equipment, including forklifts and other material transport tools, maintaining a safe work environment
• Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) meticulously to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production documentation interpretation and shift reports
