ABC Metals Group LLC in Indianapolis is hiring an Exact Pack Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will package, inspect, label, and prepare finished materials for shipment per customer specifications and company quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in packaging operations, quality inspection, and material handling, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. This role requires safe operation of packaging equipment and adherence to 5S standards.

Competenze

• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and production documentation.
• Basic math skills and accurate paperwork/records.

Mansioni

• Package finished products according to customer specifications, work orders and quality requirements.
• Verify product dimensions, quantities, labels, and packaging materials before shipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality.
• Accurately count, weigh, and record packaged materials.
• Prepare shipping labels, identification tags, and packaging documentation.
• Operate packaging equipment, scales, label printers, and related production equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, packing instructions, and customer specifications.
• Detect and report quality issues, defects, or discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by properly identifying and tracking materials.
• Assist with material movement and staging of finished goods for shipping.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as authorized.
• Keep work areas clean and organized per 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Work with Production, Quality, and Shipping to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
