Job summary

OSI Optoelectronics is seeking an assembler in Camarillo, CA, to read blueprints and specifications and perform precise component assembly. Responsibilities include complex die attach and encapsulation, using specialized equipment, with strict quality adherence.

Qualifications

• Reading, interpreting blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
• Ability to use a microscope and small hand tools for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean material for in-process and final assembly.
• Perform complex die attach using automatic/semi-automatic equipment per traveler and drawings.
• Perform complex encapsulation using epoxy per traveler and drawings.
• Operate assembly equipment to complete complex assemblies using pick-and-place, laser marker, ink pad printer, wire bonding, soldering iron, etc.

• Report quality problems or defects to enable corrective action.
• Duties may be modified to meet business needs.
