The role requires at least 4 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and metrology equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent technical education.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with visual and dimensional inspection preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify non-conformances through specified inspection methods.
• Perform detailed visual inspections on intricate parts, sometimes under microscopes.
• Inspect efficiently with attention to detail and maintain accurate records.
• Measure optics with calipers and compare to drawings.
• Maintain manufacturing database records and generate reports.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve processes.
• Review metrology reports and pass/fail criteria.
• Operate and maintain metrology equipment.
• Create advance reports and presentations.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
