IDEX Corporation, Portage, MI, is seeking a detail‑oriented Manufacturing Technician on the 1st or 2nd shift to support our optics manufacturing team. The role requires hands‑on machining experience on a manufacturing floor, a commitment to precision and quality, and a collaborative mindset.

You will operate machining equipment, perform visual inspection and measurement, document processes, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands‑on machining operating experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of basic manufacturing tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with ultra-precision diamond turning equipment a plus.
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Position Overview

We are looking for a 1st or 2nd shift, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support our advanced optics manufacturing team.
