Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Clean Room Technician to support the Filters Operations team by cleaning glass substrates for subsequent processing. You will report to the Production Manager of the Filters department.

Key duties include receiving optical parts, verifying drawings, cleaning per instructions, maintaining cleaning logs, and managing cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organization and housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow required work instructions and procedures.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Receiving optical parts from fabrication, coating, or quality assurance and then cleaning parts and substrates for coating and fabrication processes.
• Reviewing drawings and instructions to verify physical dimensions, cleaning methods, and appropriate tooling.
• Cleaning parts using all processes according to instructions.
• Completing proper records and cleaning logs.
• Maintains an inventory of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
