Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Day in Your Life Clean Room Technician to partner with the Filters Operations team, cleaning glass substrates for subsequent processing. Reports to the Production Manager of the Filters department.

You will handle receiving parts, verify instructions, perform cleaning per procedures, document activities, and maintain inventories of chemicals and cleaning supplies. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and ability to work in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of related experience.
• Must read and write English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive optical parts from fabrication, coating, or QA and clean substrates for processing.
• Review drawings and instructions for dimensions and tooling.
• Clean parts using defined processes and maintain cleaning logs.
