MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Clean Room Technician to partner with the Filters Operations team in cleaning glass substrates for subsequent processing.

You will report to the Production Manager of the Filters department and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols in a controlled lab environment. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and capacity to work independently.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organization and housekeeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow required work instructions and procedures.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Receiving optical parts from fabrication, coating, or quality assurance and then cleaning parts and substrates for coating and fabrication processes.
• Reviewing drawings and instructions to verify physical dimensions, cleaning methods, and appropriate tooling.
• Cleaning parts using all processes according to instructions.
• Completing proper records and cleaning logs.
• Maintains an inventory of chemicals and cleaning supplies.

This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
