Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/production or inspection is required.
• Experience around injection molding equipment is preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with SPC methods is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for ERP data entry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and degate injection molded polymer optical lenses.
• Package finished parts per customer/production quality requirements.
• Record production data in the ERP system, including cycle times and scrap rates.
• Operate one or more injection molding machines; perform basic secondary operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, contamination-free work environment.
• Read and follow work instructions, process control plans, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and process technicians to resolve issues.
• Communicate production/equipment/quality concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with inventory counts and material preparation for shifts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and update work instructions as needed.
