Job summary

Gooch & Housego PLC is seeking a Quality Technician located in Rochester, NY, to support in-process production parts qualification and inspection.

This role involves performing dimensional measurements, optical inspections, and documentation of results while actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities within production processes.

The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma with knowledge of optical inspection equipment and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Optical manufacturing and/or inspection experience preferred.
• Experience in injection molding is beneficial.
• Familiarity with medical device manufacture or inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional measurements with gauges and computer-controlled systems.
• Conduct optical non-contact inspection using metrology methods.
• Notify production personnel of inspection results.
