Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or inspection experience.
• Experience operating or around injection molding equipment preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards preferred.
• Familiarity with SPC methods is a plus.
• Basic computer skills with entry of production data into ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a clean, precision manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and degate injection molded polymer optical lenses of various sizes and geometries.
• Package finished parts in accordance with customer and production quality requirements.
• Record production data including cycle times and scrap rates within the ERP system.
• Operate one or more injection molding machines and perform basic secondary operations such as milling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free work environment.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions, process control plans, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and process technicians to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Communicate production, equipment, or quality concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with inventory counts and material preparation for incoming shifts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in updating work instructions as needed.
