Job summary

Intelligent-Manufacturing-Solutions is seeking an Optical Mechanical Assembler for 1st shift in New Hampshire. You will fabricate optical components, test with precision tools, and ensure alignment and cleanliness in a cleanroom environment.

You will read blueprints, follow safety procedures, and may lead test setups for precision options. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in assembly, IPC-610 knowledge, and experience with optical assemblies or lenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years in assembly or related field.
• Experience with optical assemblies and lenses preferred.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship requirements.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of optical components: profiling, cutting, milling, grinding, beveling, blocking, polishing, edging, cleaning and testing.
• Test and inspect optical components using metrology tools for accuracy and quality.
• Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings; follow safety and equipment maintenance procedures.
• May build or modify equipment used to test precision options and, at higher levels, lead others in their use.
• Follow visual work instructions and product specifications; select and use precision hand tools, power tools and fixtures accordingly.
