Job summary

Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) in Londonderry, NH, seeks an Optical Component Assembler to perform profiling, cutting, milling, grinding, beveling, blocking, polishing, edging, cleaning and testing using precision equipment. You will read blueprints and technical drawings and follow safety and equipment maintenance procedures.

Required to have at least 3 years in assembly or a related field, experience with optical assemblies, IPC-610 workmanship requirements, and cleanroom/ESD

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in assembly or related field.
• Experience with optical assemblies preferred.
• Reading and understanding blueprints/technical drawings.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship requirements.
• Follows safety and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lead others at higher levels (in future).

Responsibilities

• Profile, cut, mill, grind, bevel, block, polish, edge, clean and test optical components.
• Use metrology and inspection tools to verify accuracy.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Follow IPC-610 workmanship requirements.
• Maintain ESD procedures and cleanroom standards.
• Operate with precision hand and power tools and fixtures.
