Qualifications

• Basic ability to read a tape measure and perform simple math.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn precision work.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Willingness to work night shift and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and lock punches, dies, blades or fixtures on machines using gauges and tools.
• Operate and position workpieces against fixtures to cut, bend, or straighten metal.
• Adjust machine speeds and back gauges per specifications using gauges and CNC controls.
• Measure finished parts with micrometers and calipers to verify specs.
• Inspect parts for defects and sort affected pieces accordingly.
• Start and monitor machines, recording operational data.
• Read work orders and prints to determine materials, bend lines, and tolerances.
• Work steadily within production schedules to achieve on-time delivery.
