Job summary

North Shore Steel in Houston seeks a Press Brake Operator for the night shift to transform steel plate and sheet into precise parts. You will set up, program, and inspect work, ensuring quality and safety.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and runs on a 6:00 pm–5:30 am schedule. The ideal candidate will have press brake experience, ability to read blueprints, and a disciplined approach to quality control in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake equipment in a fabrication or metal processing setting.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form steel per specifications.
• Install and adjust tooling, dies, and machine settings for production runs.
• Perform first-piece inspections and verify setup before production.
• Monitor runs and adjust to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Produce parts meeting dimensional and quality requirements while minimizing scrap.
