Qualifications

• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.
• Experienced with precision measuring tools and maintaining close tolerances.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Independent worker with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate at least two multi-spindle ACME screw machines to produce precision components.
• Maintain parts within close tolerances and ensure product consistency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for efficiency and quality.
• Perform routine setup, tooling changes, and offset adjustments.
• Inspect first-piece, in-process, and finished parts with precision instruments.
• Maintain production records and inspection documentation.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and tool wear to minimize downtime.
• Replace cutting tools and monitor tool life for performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
