Job summary

Komatsu in Lebanon, KY is seeking a Motor Associate to disassemble, clean, prep, and reassemble AC and DC motors with precision. You will work onsite to support production efficiency and equipment quality, performing mechanical tasks safely and to high standards.

Responsibilities include removing bearings, blasting parts, aligning shafts, painting motors, and following safety rules while maintaining housekeeping.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical experience required.
• Must be able to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble AC/DC motors including taping holes and cleaning
• Remove all bearings and sleeves
• Run VIP furnace
• Sandblast parts for assembly
• Flush water jackets
• Press shafts into armatures
• Prep motor assembly with necessary parts
• Paint motors
• Perform other assignments as directed by departmental supervision
• Obey all safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards
