MOS Plastics Inc., a Currier company, is seeking a Machine Operator to support the production team. You will operate machinery, perform finishing, inspection, and packaging of plastic parts.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 months of experience, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a loud, dusty environment. On-site position in San Jose, CA with standard benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and minimum 6 months of work experience.
• Ability to read/understand basic instructions and do basic arithmetic calculations.
• Frequent mental and visual concentration required while waiting on machines and inspecting parts.
• Requires vision including close, peripheral, depth, and color vision.
• Must be able to stand, reach, twist, and move hands throughout shift.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 25 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Read and follow operator instructions and sample boards displaying actual samples.
• Operate equipment according to instructions and ensure safe operation.
• Use hand cutting tools such as cutters, exacto and degating knives.
• Maintain and report production counts.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and assemble components to molded parts.
• Package and label parts correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Communicate quality issues, counts, supplies, and changes to the lead.
