Job summary

nVent's Medway, MA facility is seeking manufacturing associates to assemble, prepare, and cast insulators used in our electrical products. The role requires precise measurement, safe handling of liquids, and following SOPs and blueprints.

You will read tape measures, prepare sleeves and components, sandblast and grind parts, and operate hand tools and casting equipment. The position is physical, with standing and lifting up to 50 lbs, in a non climate-controlled setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or hands-on industrial environments.
• Ability to read tape measures and simple instructions.
• Experience handling liquids in manufacturing settings.
• Basic math skills for working with fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and cast insulators used in nVent products.
• Prepare sleeves, inserts, and other components for casting operations.
• Sandblast sleeves and inserts to support casting preparation.
• Sandblast and grind insulators according to process requirements.
• Accurately measure, mix, and handle liquids used in the casting process.
• Use hand tools, measuring tools, sanders, grinders, and safety equipment.
• Read and follow work instructions, SOPs, tapes and blueprints to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following safety and quality standards.
