Job summary

nVent is seeking an Assembly Operator in the United States to join our team and contribute to assembling electrical fastening products. You will follow drawings and work instructions, using hands, machinery, or hand tools to ensure quality and safety in every build.

You will read schematics, install busbars in switchgear enclosures with proper insulation and grounding, and perform routine quality checks. The role emphasizes teamwork and maintaining a clean, organized work area while supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assembler, preferred.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, or package a product or component.
• Follow Work Instructions throughout the process.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and drawings for bussing requirements.
• Install busbars within switchgear enclosures with proper insulation and grounding.
• Move production materials as required and maintain equipment and materials.
• Meet safety, quality and performance standards and record information on Manufacturing Orders.
