Job summary

Multifab Inc in Spokane Valley, Washington is seeking a Mold Polishing Technician to polish, sand and support tooling and equipment in the manufacturing process. You will use hand held and power tools to prepare molds and related components, ensuring quality per customer specifications.

Responsibilities include mold preparation, inspection, packaging, inventory support, and operating forklift or pallet jack when moving parts; familiarity with Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues using decision making and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Polish/prepare mold cavities and components.
• Inspect parts for quality per customer requirements.
• Wrap and package parts for shipping.
• Participate in inventory counts, as needed.
• Use computer to locate, enter and update information (Microsoft Excel).
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack to move parts.
• Assist machinists with mold component production.
• Materials handling and preparation for machining operations using pallet jacks and fork lifts.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of purchased mold components, hardware, and raw material.
• Ensure work assignments are carried out to the highest quality ensuring customer quality and company needs are met.
